MGBI / iMSiG Alternative: Pay-Per-Result Polish Insolvency Data
comparison · krz · msig · credit-risk · poland · 3 min read
TL;DR
- MGBI (imsig.pl) sells Polish insolvency data as a subscription - monitoring packages built on MSiG and KRZ publications
- getregdata sells the same underlying public-registry data pay-per-result: MSiG announcements from $0.0035 per record, KRZ debtor checks from $0.005 per result plus $0.025 per search, and a full KYB check (identity + UBO + insolvency) for a $0.05 orchestration fee on top of the registry lookups it runs
- No contract, no seats, no minimum; a 500-company portfolio screened daily costs tens of dollars a month, not a fixed license
- Rates above are the paid-plan (Starter) tier; the free plan pays a little more per record and higher plans pay less. Live per-actor rates: pricing.md
- Every record carries its official source (registry + case signature), so results are audit-traceable
What MGBI/iMSiG is good at
MGBI has served Polish insolvency data for years: curated MSiG/KRZ monitoring bundles, historical archives, and analyst-friendly reports. If you want a managed service with alerts delivered to your inbox and someone else operating the pipeline, a subscription vendor is a reasonable choice - and for high, steady volumes a flat license can price out cheaper.
Where pay-per-result wins
1. You only pay for what you check. A factoring or collections portfolio doesn’t need a license tier - it needs each counterparty screened. At $0.005 per KRZ result and $0.0035 per MSiG announcement, screening scales linearly from 10 companies to 10,000. KRZ adds $0.025 per search on top, so batch a portfolio into one run rather than firing a run per company.
2. It’s an API first, not a report first. Each actor returns structured JSON
(caseSignature, proceedingType, court, publicationDate) ready for your risk engine,
n8n/Make workflow, or AI agent (all registries are also MCP tools).
3. Primary sources, traceable. Results come from the registries themselves - the National Debtor Register (KRZ), the Court & Economic Gazette (MSiG), the UBO register (CRBR) - with the source travelling on every record. A refusal or registry outage is reported as such, never silently returned as “no findings”.
4. UBO screening in the same call. The Poland KYB check resolves beneficial owners from CRBR and screens the company and every owner against KRZ in one call, for a $0.05 orchestration fee plus the component registry lookups it runs - and the fee is charged only when every source answered.
