What is BODACC?
The Bulletin officiel des annonces civiles et commerciales, the official French gazette for company announcements, published by DILA. Its edition A carries the collective-proceedings notices: openings of liquidation judiciaire, redressement judiciaire and sauvegarde, plans and closures.
Which events are included?
Every collective-proceedings notice about a company in BODACC A: openings, conversions, plans and closures. Each record keeps the original French wording next to a normalised event type, so you can filter in code without losing what the court wrote.
Does the feed cover private individuals?
No. The feed is company-level. Notices about individuals and sanctions against directors are not part of it.
How often is it delivered?
Daily. BODACC publishes Tuesday to Friday and on Sunday, so some days carry more records than others. Each file contains the records added since the previous one.
In which format, and how is it delivered?
CSV or JSON Lines, with the same columns in the same order. Delivery by e-mail, to your S3 bucket, by SFTP, or read from the REST API with a cursor.
Is history available?
Yes, on request. BODACC notices are available back to 2008, so a feed can start with a backfill of past openings and closures.
Can I use the data commercially?
BODACC is published under the Licence Ouverte 2.0, which allows re-use, including commercial re-use, with attribution. Every record carries the credit line to display with the data.
What does it cost?
Each feed is quoted on its own, after a free one-day sample, so you can see the volume first. Ask for the sample below and the quote comes with it by e-mail.
